This Steel Fabrication Foreman opportunity is ideal for a hands-on leader who can strengthen shop performance, keep teams moving, and get results on tank and steel fabrication work.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Steel Fabrication Foreman position include:
- 3+ years in a supervisor/lead role, with experience directing employees in industrial steel fabrication.
- Strong steel fabrication knowledge, including hands-on familiarity with weld and fabrication expectations.
- Experience with tank fabrication a plus.
- Proven ability to motivate employees, manage labor allocation, and drive productivity day-to-day.
- Ability to manage 15-20 people while maintaining firm, consistent leadership.
- Capability to work with Excel and Word (basic use such as plugging in data).
- Ability to lead employees toward proficiency and ensure shop expectations are met.
- Schedule support for a M-F day shift, with potential for some overtime as needed.
Salary: $27,000 - $30,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: Incentive bonuses are available if the company is successful, with potential for some overtime (not always).
