Build your future with a well-established structural engineering firm in Billerica, MA, where you’ll lead meaningful projects for residential, commercial, institutional, and renovation clients. In this Sr. Structural Project Engineer opportunity, you’ll combine hands-on structural design with project leadership, working closely with clients, architects, contractors, and internal team members in a collaborative, no-corporate-bureaucracy culture.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Sr. Structural Project Engineer position include:
- 5+ years of experience
- Current Massachusetts Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Strong knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood design
- Experience designing buildings in accordance with applicable building codes and industry standards
- Lead structural projects from proposal through construction
- Prepare structural calculations, reports, specifications, and construction documents, including quality and code compliance review
- Conduct site visits, field investigations, and structural observations; coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and consultants
Salary: $105k-$125k per year, commensurate with experience.
