This Senior Water/Wastewater Engineering Manager opportunity is based in St. Louis, with hybrid flexibility and a clear path to increasing responsibility within the Water Division.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Water/Wastewater Engineering Manager position include:
- 10+ years of relevant engineering experience, including 3–4+ years of meaningful management/leadership experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Water/wastewater and/or stormwater engineering experience, with the ability to serve as a senior technical resource and review technical work products
- Experience managing, mentoring, developing, scheduling, and allocating engineering staff (overseeing approximately 30 employees)
- Business development and client relationship experience, including identifying opportunities and helping convert them into contracted backlog
- Strong business acumen with an operational mindset around workload projections, staffing, budgets, backlog, and business-unit performance
- Assist with reviews of workload projections/resources and recommend adjustments to meet commitments
- Coordinate with the Business Unit Leader on backlog strategy, monitor technical quality, and help oversee schedules and budgets
Salary: $120,000 - $165,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: Annual bonus typically paid in March based on company performance; multiple medical plan options with the company covering approximately 85% of medical premiums; dental; 401(k); flexible/hybrid work schedule; paid parental leave; company-sponsored activities; domestic partner benefits; and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) where employees become eligible after one year and the company contributes approximately 8% of salary into the plan with shares becoming available as eligibility is met.
