In this Senior Project Manager, Engineering opportunity based in St. Louis, MO, you’ll lead complex design delivery from concept through construction while serving as the primary engineering contact for key clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Project Manager, Engineering position include:
- 5+ years of progressive civil engineering experience, including project management or design leadership
- Lead the planning, design, and delivery of large-scale, technically complex sports, parks, and civil infrastructure projects from concept through construction
- Oversee grading, drainage, turf-base systems, and stormwater management design across assigned projects
- Provide high-level design review, quality control, and technical oversight before work leaves the department
- Ensure designs meet municipal and state engineering standards, including MSD and MoDOT requirements
- Manage regulatory, permitting, and agency approval processes, including coordination with AHJs such as cities, counties, MoDNR, and USACE
- Serve as primary engineering contact for key clients and municipalities, including presentations at public hearings, board meetings, and client design sessions
- Mentor and develop Civil Designers, Project Engineers, and Engineering Project Managers, supporting department planning and workload forecasting
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
