Bring your electrical engineering expertise to Tucson and make a real impact on critical municipal water and wastewater infrastructure. This Senior Consultant - PE Electrical Engineer opportunity offers high-autonomy work on controls, automation, SCADA/IT-OT networks, and utility electrical systems with a collaborative, employee-owned firm.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Consultant - PE Electrical Engineer position include:
- 7-10+ years of electrical engineering and consulting experience
- Comfortable stamping drawings without oversight
- Municipal water/wastewater utility experience strongly preferred
- Must have Arizona Electrical PE; ability to obtain PE licenses in other states helpful
- Lead and support project work focused on controls systems, automation, SCADA/IT-OT networks, PLCs, servers, instrumentation networks, and utility electrical systems
- Experience with transformers, switchgear, distribution panels, and lighting panels
- Familiarity with data warehouse/analytics, GIS/CMMS, and related municipal systems
- Travel up to 20% for Tucson-based candidates (up to 75% for candidates outside of Tucson), with expenses covered and reimbursed weekly
Salary: $110,755 - $156,360 per year, commensurate with experience.
