This Salesperson/Estimator opportunity blends on-site estimating with a supportive, relationship-driven sales process and a team that handles the fieldwork after the sale.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Salesperson/Estimator position include:
- At least five years of construction experience, with residential construction or remodeling experience necessary
- Must be able to read construction plans
- Works exclusively with warm, inbound leads; cold calling is not required
- Visit project sites to gather measurements, scope details, and information needed for proposals
- Estimate project costs and present proposals to homeowners
- Complete estimates and designs in a timely manner
- Use Rapid estimating software (training provided)
- Understand residential construction fundamentals, including the difference between load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls
Salary: $50,000 per year, plus commissions on projects of 5%.
Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance are offered, and the company pays 50% of the employee’s individual insurance premiums.
