Bring your residential HVAC expertise to a team that values excellent customer service and hands-on craftsmanship across the Cheshire, CT area. In this Residential HVAC Service Technician opportunity, you’ll diagnose, service, and repair home heating and cooling systems while building trust with homeowners through clear communication and smart recommendations.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Residential HVAC Service Technician position include:
- Experienced residential HVAC service technician able to independently diagnose, repair, and explain system issues.
- Maintain a current Connecticut HVAC license (D-2, B-2, or S-2 Required).
- Diagnose, service, and repair residential furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, central air, and ductless systems.
- Complete approximately 3–4 service calls per day with service and repair focus (minimal installation/changeout work).
- Clearly explain issues, completed repairs, and available solutions to homeowners.
- Identify and communicate legitimate membership, upgrade, additional-service, and equipment opportunities.
- Accurately document service calls in the company CRM using a provided iPad.
- Participate in the on-call rotation approximately 1–2 times per month.
Salary: $35–$45 per hour, plus commissions/spiffs and overtime.
Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision plans with approximately 50% of the employee base plan covered, approximately 10 days PTO, and state holidays, plus paid on-call participation.
