Join a cutting-edge infrastructure and capital projects organization as a Resident Engineer in San Francisco, CA, where you’ll play a key role in delivering impactful highway, bridge, toll, and interstate projects that keep communities moving. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fast-growing, specialized team focused on major public infrastructure, offering strong compensation, relocation assistance, and the chance to contribute on high-visibility client sites five days a week.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Resident Engineer position include:
- Must be a Licensed Professional Engineer in California; Caltrans P.E. preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience on highway, bridge, toll, interstate, or similar public works projects
- Experience working on Caltrans or comparable roadway construction projects
- Provide inspection and quality assurance for highway and roadway construction projects
- Coordinate with contractors, utilities, and project teams to maintain compliance with plans and specifications
- Prepare and maintain project records, reports, estimates, and change orders
- Assist with inspections of structural construction including bridges, foundations, walls, shoring, and drainage structures
- Monitor contractor progress and support field problem-solving, calculations, and materials compliance testing
Salary: $180,000 - $225,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
