Description
Bring your precision and problem-solving skills to an established manufacturing operation in Ventura County, CA. In this Quality Technician/Inspector opportunity, you’ll help ensure materials and manufactured components meet engineering specifications, dimensional tolerances, quality standards, and customer requirements.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Quality Technician/Inspector position include:
- Hands-on experience with dimensional inspection and precision measuring equipment.
- Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and similar inspection tools.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, work orders, and inspection documents.
- Understand dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T symbols.
- Perform detailed dimensional inspections using both traditional measuring tools and computer-assisted inspection equipment.
- Accurately record inspection measurements, results, and discrepancies.
- Inspect incoming materials, work-in-progress, and completed components to verify compliance with specifications.
- Prepare nonconformance documentation and assist with corrective-action and material-review processes.
- Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment according to established schedules.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safety-focused inspection area.
Salary: $22 - $32 per hour, depending on experience.
