Description
Bring your aerospace quality expertise to a fast-growing, fully onsite CNC machine shop in Dallas, TX where you’ll help deliver large, complex, tight-tolerance products for major aerospace OEMs. In this Quality Manager opportunity, you’ll lead quality systems, customer communication, and audit readiness while partnering closely with production to keep performance moving forward.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Quality Manager position include:
- 10+ years of aerospace CNC machine shop quality experience strongly desired; hands-on inspection background and independent leadership/communication skills
- Working knowledge of AS9100 (AS9100 3rd Party Audits) and ISO 9001
- Comprehensive knowledge of GD&T and the ability to interpret engineering drawings to derive inspection criteria
- Metrology experience with CMM, portable inspection equipment, and analysis of inspection reports (CMM operation/programming is a plus)
- Maintain and advance the QMS, updating procedures and collecting/reporting quality performance data
- Manage and assist Receiving Inspection, In-process Inspection, Final Inspection, and FAI activities
- Lead customer-facing quality initiatives, including customer source inspection activities
- Drive continuous improvement using RCCA / 5-Why and support shop production and related departments
Salary: $105K-$140K per year, commensurate with experience.
