Description
Bring your aerospace quality expertise to Marysville, WA and help ensure precision machined and formed components meet exacting standards for aerospace and defense programs. In this Quality Inspector opportunity, you’ll perform first article, in-process, and final inspections while working with advanced inspection tools and CMMs in a collaborative, continuous-improvement culture.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Quality Inspector position include:
- Aerospace inspection experience in a tight-tolerance manufacturing environment, including dimensionally inspecting machined metal parts
- Strong ability to read and interpret aerospace engineering drawings, including revisions and GD&T callouts
- Understanding of GD&T symbols and the ability to determine pass/fail based on drawing requirements
- Experience programming and operating CMMs to inspect complex aerospace parts and verify critical dimensions
- Ability to perform First Article Inspection Reports (AS9102) and document conformance to drawings and specifications
- Comfort using precision inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, pin gauges, optical comparators, and Rockwell hardness testers
- Ability to identify out-of-tolerance conditions, determine failed features, and provide clear feedback to machinists and assemblers
- Familiarity with Boeing specifications (preferred)
Salary: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: Health, dental, and vision coverages are available; they cover a portion, and for a single person it costs $150 per month. The company offers 2 weeks of vacation, a 401(k) match up to 4% of your salary if you contribute at least 6%, and an annual bonus.
