Bring your precision and quality focus to a fast-growing manufacturing environment in Bethel, CT, where high-volume production and strong team camaraderie make every day feel impactful. In this In-Process Quality Inspector opportunity, you’ll help ensure parts meet exact specifications from first article through final and vendor certification checks.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Quality Inspector position include:
- Manufacturing quality inspection experience required; precision machine shop/CNC environment preferred
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of parts in production
- Analyze and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings
- Approve initial articles for new job setups before production begins
- Conduct in-process inspection data walk-throughs and verify dimensions meet tolerances
- Check for surface defects such as pits, burrs, nicks, and other irregularities
- Inspect finished parts received from vendors and approve for shipping or additional assembly
- Verify raw material and vendor-processed part certifications/testing; use precision measuring tools
- Night shift 3:30pm-1:00am Monday-Friday; optional Saturday overtime 7:00am-3:30pm
Salary: $25/hr-$40/hr, commensurate with experience.
