Build your future with a hands-on construction team delivering commercial projects across the East Bay Area of California. In this Project Superintendent opportunity, you’ll help drive safe, high-quality field execution while partnering closely with clients, design teams, and subcontractors to keep work moving on schedule.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Project Superintendent position include:
- Minimum 5 years of construction superintendent experience, ideally supporting commercial, industrial, infrastructure, utility, telecommunications, energy, renewable energy, or mission-critical environments.
- Oversee daily field operations as the primary onsite representative, coordinating subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel.
- Enforce OSHA safety requirements, company safety policies, and site-specific safety plans; conduct jobsite safety inspections and toolbox talks.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain construction schedules, coordinating milestones and long-lead procurement items.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, field logs, manpower reports, progress updates, and project photographs using construction management software.
- Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and resolve daily jobsite issues in coordination with Project Managers and stakeholders.
- Ensure quality control by verifying installations conform to approved plans, specifications, manufacturer requirements, and applicable codes.
- Support RFIs, review submittals and shop drawings for field quality control, manage punch lists/deficiencies, and coordinate inspections and turnover activities.
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
