This Project Engineer - Utility Construction role is located in Queens, NY, with opportunities to support projects throughout the Northeast through a mix of office coordination and hands-on field involvement. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Project Engineer - Utility Construction position include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
- 1–3 years of experience in construction or utility industries.
- Strong MS Office skills with extensive expertise in Excel for data manipulation and reporting.
- Ability to work both in office and field environments, including support for underground transmission projects.
- Monitor and control project expenditures, accurately recording tickets, invoices, and claims.
- Provide planning and cost control support, including variation reporting, contract progress monitoring, and customer billing preparation.
- Assist with preconstruction tasks such as mark-out requests, job kick-offs, utility work packages, and permitting.
- Utilize project management system reporting (View Point preferred) and collaborate with the project team to resolve issues and support completion.
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year.
