Description
A growing land surveying and geospatial services firm is seeking an PLS Project Manager in TX! This is an exciting opportunity to join a 250–300 employee company that has won a significant amount of new work, offers a strong culture with company events, and is looking for a licensed survey leader to help grow the office while supporting civil, commercial, residential development, renewables, utilities, and oil & gas projects.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this PLS Project Manager position include:
- Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) license required in Texas, with multiple licenses preferred for higher compensation.
- Civil surveying experience required, with experience in commercial projects, large residential developments, renewables, utilities, and oil & gas preferred.
- Oversee boundary surveys, topographic surveys, field efforts, data quality, legal descriptions, plats, reports, and final deliverables.
- Review deed, title, easement, and boundary information to resolve project-related boundary lines.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal surveying laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with survey teams, field crews, and project managers to plan, execute, and complete projects on schedule.
- Proficiency with Civil 3D, CAD, GIS, and advanced surveying instruments required.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, quality control, and client relationship support, with business development experience considered a plus.
Salary: $140,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
