Description
Step into a hands-on, mission-driven manufacturing environment in Roanoke where advanced wireless airspace cybersecurity solutions come to life from build to burn-in to shipment. Plant Manager will lead a growing 15,000 sq. ft. test facility and ensure production flow, schedule adherence, and reliable system validation for customer network deployments.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Plant Manager position include:
- Lead production operations with a strong focus on flow, schedule, and delivering high-quality product on time
- Manage and run testing for customer networks using switches, servers, and working network systems
- Comfortably work with complex electronic systems and system test processes (engineering credentials not required)
- Oversee use of testing software to validate hardware and integrated systems
- Ensure burn-in of sensors to catch thermally induced failures
- Coordinate incoming sensors from a contract manufacturer and manage end-to-end build, integration, and packaging
- Maintain credibility with technical stakeholders through an understanding of network testing and electronic production
- Be available for quarterly meetings in Washington, DC
Salary: Up to $175,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
