This exciting Mechanical Product Design Engineer opportunity offers flexibility in California or Tennessee with the chance to make a direct impact on durable fitness equipment used in boutique studios. This growing fitness equipment manufacturer is upgrading facilities, improving processes, and looking for a hands-on designer who loves creating, refining, and developing long-lasting products in a flexible, creative engineering environment.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Product Design Engineer position include:
- Strong mechanical engineering knowledge with hands-on product design and development experience.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and strong 3D design capabilities.
- Experience revising existing products and supporting new product development.
- Interest in designing durable, high-quality products for fitness equipment manufacturing.
- Ability to collaborate on manufacturable designs that support facility upgrades and evolving production needs.
- Background in industrial processing, automotive, durable product manufacturing, fitness equipment, or similar industries is preferred.
- Open to junior, mid-level, or senior candidates, including degreed or non-degreed professionals with strong capability and work ethic.
- Self-motivated personality with the ability to thrive in a flexible, autonomous, hands-on engineering environment.
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, PTO of 1 week after the first year, and the company is exploring implementation of a 401(k).
