Qualifications and responsibilities for this Production CAD Specialist position include:
- 2.5+ years of experience in CAD drafting, product design, CNC programming, or a related manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks is required; experience with Accumark, Alphacam, and/or Lectra software is preferred.
- CSWP (Certified SolidWorks Professional) certification is highly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and production documentation.
- Create and modify 2D/3D CAD drawings, upholstery patterns, production markers, and CNC-ready files.
- Calculate fabric yardage requirements, optimize marker layouts, and support fabric utilization efforts.
- Troubleshoot design and production issues while collaborating with design, sewing, upholstery, and manufacturing teams.
- Inspect production outputs for quality, maintain pattern databases, and support efficient manufacturing workflows.
Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
