This Mechanical/Plumbing Project Manager opportunity in Fredericksburg, VA combines meaningful jobsite involvement with a supportive, family-oriented culture.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical/Plumbing Project Manager position include:
- Minimum of five years of project management experience in the mechanical or plumbing construction industry.
- Manage mechanical and plumbing construction projects from preconstruction/buyout through closeout, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
- Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, billing, and financial reporting.
- Lead safety and maintain strong quality control standards on job sites.
- Support commissioning and manage project closeout, including turnover manuals, warranties, and final payment documentation for subcontractors.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, and Foundation job-costing software; BIM coordination experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Federal and commercial construction project experience preferred, with familiarity with NAVFAC, FEMA, and USACE and applicable codes and regulations.
Salary: $80,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
