In this Mechanical Design Engineer opportunity, you’ll design next-generation automated machinery and collaborate with a cross-functional team to turn complex assemblies into high-functioning automated solutions.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Mechanical Design Engineer position include:
- BSME or related field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in machine design (robotic systems experience is a plus).
- Develop smart, high-performance mechanical systems that integrate automation, robotics, and motion control to optimize manufacturing.
- Design and refine manufacturing equipment, incorporating robotic assembly, AI-driven processes, and advanced motion control systems.
- Select key components such as power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, and motion control to create cost-effective, streamlined solutions.
- Use 3D CAD software (Solid Edge, AutoCAD, etc.) to generate designs, technical drawings, and bills of materials.
- Transform complex mechanical assemblies into automated solutions, ensuring seamless operation and top-tier performance.
- Diagnose mechanical failures in automated equipment and implement hands-on solutions to keep production running smoothly.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first approach.
Salary: $80,000 to $100,000
