In this Manufacturing Engineer opportunity, you’ll plan and improve manufacturing processes for steering linkage and suspension components while partnering across engineering, production, quality, and suppliers.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Manufacturing Engineer position include:
- 5+ years of related experience; automotive manufacturing background strongly preferred
- Mechanical engineering degree required; Certified Manufacturing Engineer preferred
- SolidWorks required; APQP and IATF 16949 preferred
- Plan, direct, and coordinate manufacturing methods, layouts, and workforce utilization for maximum efficiency
- Review product drawings for manufacturing feasibility and support customer process reviews
- Develop and improve processes using statistical methods; establish work standards for existing and new processes
- Prepare FFMEA and ensure PFMEA documentation is reviewed, signed, and distributed per company standards
- Provide shop-floor technical support, including training for machine operation and tool usage; coordinate gaging procedures with quality
Salary: $70,000+ per year, commensurate with experience.
