This Maintenance Technician opportunity offers a hands-on role with visible project leadership, plant improvements, and strong career growth potential within a collaborative, compliance-focused environment.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Maintenance Tech position include:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance, repair, and preventive measures is preferred.
- Perform preventative maintenance on advanced production equipment and complete breakdown analysis.
- Correct mechanical and electrical problems, including troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns and electrical systems.
- Upgrade production lines with new or improved equipment/technology and support changeovers per the changeover SOP.
- Maintain strong GMP, safety, and audit compliance, including commitment to Safe Quality Food (SQF).
- Enforce documentation standards by recording work schedules, tasks completed, and completing the Daily Work Report.
- Read and interpret blueprints/schematics and apply knowledge from product manuals to make repairs.
- Work independently under limited supervision while overseeing or performing general housekeeping.
Salary: $35/hr (union pay)
