This Licensed Architect opportunity is located in-office in Oconomowoc, WI, near the Milwaukee and Madison metro areas, and offers the chance to work closely with estimators, construction teams, and clients from concept through construction. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Licensed Architect position include:
- Licensed Architect (required) – Lead or support architectural design from concept through construction documentation.
- 5+ years of architectural experience – Manage projects across commercial, industrial, renovation, mixed-use, and tenant improvement sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field – Coordinate design efforts with internal project managers, estimators, and construction teams.
- High proficiency with Revit – Produce and coordinate detailed construction documents and specifications.
- Experience with BIM-based workflows – Collaborate with consultants and internal teams during design-build coordination meetings.
- Knowledge of building codes, zoning, and permitting processes – Ensure projects meet regulatory requirements and maintain compliance.
- Strong understanding of building systems and construction methods – Participate in value engineering and practical design decision-making.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills – Support projects during construction through RFIs, submittals, and field coordination.
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including 75% employer-covered health insurance for employees and dependents, a 401k with 3% safe harbor contribution plus an additional 3% profit sharing contribution, 20 days of PTO to start (prorated during the first year), and discretionary bonuses.
