Bring your large-tonnage HVAC expertise to a hands-on service team making a real impact across commercial and industrial facilities in Owego, New York. In this Large Tonnage Chiller Technician opportunity, you’ll service and troubleshoot complex chiller and chilled-water systems while working Monday through Friday with overtime and emergency service opportunities.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Large Tonnage Chiller Technician position include:
- 10+ years of service technician experience in commercial/industrial HVAC
- Strong large-tonnage chiller experience highly preferred (centrifugal, screw, scroll, or reciprocating)
- Solid understanding of commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with chilled-water systems, cooling towers, pumps, and hydronic systems
- EPA Universal required
- Diagnose, service, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC equipment
- Troubleshoot and service large tonnage chillers, including associated pumps, cooling towers, condenser systems, and controls
Salary: Union Pay: $46.91 per hour, negotiable.
Benefits: Union benefits package reportedly valued at approximately $75k annually.
