In this Industrial Mechanical Technician opportunity, you’ll help maintain and troubleshoot production equipment and facility infrastructure while supporting a stronger preventive maintenance program.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Industrial Mechanical Technician position include:
- Minimum 5+ years mechanical experience in an industrial setting, preferably chemical industry.
- Repair and troubleshoot chemical processing equipment, including pumps, vacuum pumps, chillers, agitators/mixers, hot oil systems, ovens, and other chemical processing equipment.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on all equipment and track findings.
- Complete general maintenance repairs to building and facility, including doors, locks, windows, and related items.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required and minimize production impact.
- Support renovation/remodeling tasks as needed, including plaster/drywall repair and painting.
- Use welding and fabrication skills as needed (including ARC, MIG, and TIG) and apply plumbing/electrical/mechanical knowledge to maintenance work.
- Maintain accurate records of scheduled maintenance procedures, work orders, and checklists while following safety standards and 5S practices.
Salary: $30/hr-$40/hr
Benefits: 100% paid individual medical premiums for employee, max out of pocket $500, dental/vision, 6% 401(k) match, and an annual bonus.
