Step into a fast-paced warehouse environment supporting advanced vacuum automation systems in Raleigh, NC. In this Engineering Technician opportunity, you’ll assemble sophisticated equipment, interpret technical drawings, and help ensure every shipment is properly prepared for safe delivery.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Engineering Technician position include:
- 5-10 years of mechanical assembly experience; warehouse experience required
- High school diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read plans/blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient with metal fabrication tools (e.g., drill press, band saw, belt sander, grinders)
- Proficient with basic hand and power tools including nail guns and miter saws
- Ability to receive, inspect, and stock parts from incoming shipments
- Package and ship finished goods to prevent damage; assist with shipping/receiving and returns as needed
- Self-starter who can multi-task, prioritize, and work with minimal direction in a high paced environment
Salary: $24-$30/hour
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with 6% contribution, HRA options, 23 days PTO, and 12 holidays; company covers 90% of employee health premiums.
