Description
Bring your electrical design expertise to impactful, heavy industrial projects where accuracy, documentation, and cross-discipline collaboration truly matter. This Electrical Designer opportunity is based in St. Louis, MO (Atlanta, GA or Tucson, AZ may be considered) and offers a clear path to produce detailed CAD drawings and engineering documentation for complex facilities.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Industrial Electrical Designer position include:
- 3+ years producing electrical CAD drawings; at least 2 years using AutoCAD and at least 2 years using Revit.
- Develop electrical schematics, connection diagrams, instrument loops, and electrical schedules for industrial facilities.
- Prepare and revise detailed electrical CAD drawings using information from mechanical, structural, architectural, process, and electrical drawings.
- Create equipment layouts, lighting layouts, site lighting plans, and electrical details; locate devices and equipment on plans.
- Generate electrical engineering lists, equipment schedules, and databases in accordance with company standards; maintain electrical information using CAD and Excel.
- Perform required electrical design and engineering calculations accurately.
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with company and project standards.
- Assist with site surveys, field verification, and project start-up activities as required.
Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year, annual profit sharing tied to company profitability.
