Bring your mechanical expertise to a hands-on shop where industrial equipment repair makes a real difference every day. This Industrial Pump / Industrial Motor Mechanic (Maintenance Mechanic) opportunity is based in an industrial maintenance environment with a wide variety of projects, from decades-old equipment to brand-new OEM machines requiring modifications.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Industrial Pump / Industrial Motor Mechanic (Maintenance Mechanic) position include:
- 2-3+ years of applicable industrial pump or industrial motor experience; more experience preferred, and we are willing to develop candidates with relevant foundational experience.
- Disassemble industrial pumps, motors, and related equipment for inspection and repair.
- Inspect components after teardown to identify wear, damage, and potential causes of failure.
- Perform root cause and failure analysis to determine why equipment failed.
- Repair and remanufacture industrial pumps and motors.
- Perform modifications to new OEM equipment when required.
- Review customer-provided schematics and technical information, and take detailed measurements to verify required tolerances.
- Use an iPad-based process to document measurements, tolerances, inspection findings, and repair records, and support a large, active repair workload.
Salary: $21-$35/hour DOE
Benefits: Healthcare, vision, dental, 120 hours PTO, 40 hours sick time, and 8-9 paid holidays.
