Qualifications and responsibilities for this HVAC General Manager position include:
- 10+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical construction leadership
- Strong mechanical background with proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and understand HVAC and plumbing systems
- HVAC and plumbing licenses are a plus but not mandatory
- Oversee commercial new construction HVAC and plumbing projects, including underground plumbing layout and overall mechanical project execution
- Manage schedules, maintain backlog, coordinate materials and subcontractors, and ensure projects stay on track
- Provide daily onsite oversight and support for superintendents, with 5–6 direct reports and leadership over a 15-person HVAC/plumbing department
- Work closely with internal teams in a design-build environment, leveraging office and field experience to drive successful project outcomes
- Use strong computer knowledge and leadership skills to manage project flow, reporting, and operational performance
Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
