Join a high-growth industrial services business in Apex, NC as a Finance Manager! This is an exciting opportunity to step into a hands-on finance leadership role supporting fast-growing markets like pharmaceutical manufacturing, data centers, and life sciences, with direct visibility to business unit leadership, the corporate controller, and a private equity-backed platform focused on aggressive growth.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Finance Manager position include:
- 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with project-based or construction financial management experience strongly preferred.
- Manage project and job cost accounting, including WIP schedules, percentage-of-completion calculations, contract revenue recognition, and contract margin analysis.
- Partner with operations and project management teams to ensure accurate cost tracking, change order accounting, and revenue recognition across active projects.
- Develop and maintain job-level financial reporting to support profitability reviews and operational decision-making.
- Own business unit financial reporting, including monthly close, P&L management, and variance analysis.
- Implement and enforce accounting policies and internal controls consistent with corporate standards and PE sponsor expectations.
- Utilize ERP systems, with NetSuite experience a plus, while ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Apply strong Excel skills and communicate financial data clearly to non-finance audiences.
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
