Bring your technical expertise to advanced vacuum furnace projects that matter, with hands-on work starting in Sellersville, PA and expanding to customer commissioning across the U.S. and internationally. In this Field Service Technician – Vacuum Furnace Systems opportunity, you’ll support cutting-edge equipment from initial in-house start-up through troubleshooting, training, and long-term service.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Field Service Technician – Vacuum Furnace Systems position include:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience servicing, installing, or repairing industrial equipment or machinery
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, including power distribution, instrumentation, and control systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and technical documentation
- PLC troubleshooting experience with basic programming familiarity; Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500/5000 or Studio 5000 preferred
- Perform in-house vacuum furnace start-up testing, inspection, and final system preparation prior to shipment
- Commission and troubleshoot vacuum furnaces at customer facilities across the U.S. and internationally
- Conduct helium mass spectrometer leak detection, hot zone repairs, temperature uniformity surveys, pyrometry and vacuum calibrations, and preventive maintenance
- Provide customer training and remote/on-site technical support; document findings and coordinate with internal teams
Salary: $90,000–$110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
