Step into a hands-on bench role supporting the equipment that keeps commercial roofing contractors moving, with a shop culture built on technical expertise and teamwork in Revere, MA. In this Electromechanical Bench-Service Technician opportunity, you’ll diagnose and repair specialized hot-air welding and automatic roofing-welding machines, keeping performance safe and precise.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electromechanical Bench-Service Technician position include:
- 2-5+ years of hands-on electromechanical troubleshooting experience
- Strong electrical diagnostic skills and comfort using electrical test equipment
- Mechanical repair experience, including troubleshooting mechanical drive systems
- Ability to diagnose and repair heating elements, blowers, motors, wiring, and temperature controls
- Experience working with circuit boards and electronic control components
- Leister experience is ideal, and Leister-specific training can be provided
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and electrical schematics as part of the repair process
- Maintain repair documentation and log parts used within the service workflow
Salary: $25-$30 per hour, flexible based on experience (exceptional candidates may be considered up to approximately $35/hour).
