Qualifications and responsibilities for this Drafting Manager position include:
- 5+ years of structural steel detailing experience, with comparable backgrounds considered for candidates with strong CAD knowledge and leadership experience
- 3+ years of team leadership experience in design, drafting, or manufacturing environments
- Lead a large drafting team, including coordination with both domestic and international staff
- Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership to the Drafting Department to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely project delivery
- Collaborate with engineering, production, project management, fabrication, and field teams to improve workflow and drawing quality
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support quality control efforts across drafting operations
- Maintain strong knowledge of 3D software and CAD systems, with Inventor preferred
- Support utility and infrastructure-related projects while mentoring staff and strengthening departmental performance
Salary: $80,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
