Qualifications and responsibilities for this Controls Engineer – Automation Engineering Group position include:
- Design, develop, and maintain PLC-based control systems for automated equipment and manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical, controls, and automation issues in a production environment.
- Develop, modify, and document PLC logic, HMI screens, and related control system software.
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control drawings, and P&IDs.
- Support equipment commissioning, startups, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams to diagnose and resolve system-level issues.
- Ensure controls designs comply with applicable safety standards, codes, and internal engineering practices.
- Bring a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, along with industrial automation and controls experience in manufacturing.
Salary: $80,000 - $105,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
