This Estimator / Project Manager opportunity blends hands-on Job Order Contracting estimating with occasional project leadership, offering strong stability and a flexible schedule in an office-first role.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Estimator / Project Manager position include:
- 2–3+ years of direct Job Order Contracting (JOC) estimating experience, including hands-on preparation of JOC estimates
- Estimate municipal/public-sector projects, typically managing multiple opportunities (about 3–4 estimates at a time)
- Review project scopes, drawings, specifications, and construction requirements to produce competitive pricing
- Coordinate with municipal clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to clarify requirements and support estimate development
- Evaluate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs in accordance with JOC requirements
- Occasionally oversee smaller construction projects (approximately $400K range) including subcontractor coordination, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
- Maintain accurate estimating documentation and communicate effectively with leadership and project stakeholders
Salary: $100,000 - $135,000+ per year, commensurate with experience.
