In this Construction Business Development Manager opportunity, you’ll help identify and grow renovation, capital improvement, and new construction prospects while partnering closely with internal preconstruction and operations teams.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Construction Business Development Manager position include:
- 3+ years of business development or related experience, with background in multifamily, single-family, or general contracting.
- Build relationships with owners, developers, regional/asset managers, and industry partners across VA and NC.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, trade shows, and industry events.
- Grow existing accounts and identify renovation, capital improvement, and new construction opportunities.
- Coordinate scope, schedule, and pricing strategy with preconstruction/operations teams.
- Manage performance expectations including 10–15 new client meetings per month.
- Track and report on business development activity, including new revenue and client retention.
- Comfortably discuss construction scopes professionally and understand construction project requirements.
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
