This CNC Setup Technician / CNC Setup Operator opportunity is based in San Antonio, TX, with a shop-focused role centered on setup and production support.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Setup Technician / CNC Setup Operator position include:
- Minimum 3 years of CNC setup and operation experience, ideally 5-axis CNC setup or 9-axis mill turn setup.
- 5-axis CNC or 9-axis mill turn setup experience required; materials/industry background flexible.
- Preferred controls/experience with Haas, DN/Doosan, and Fanuc; NX or Fusion is a bonus.
- No programming required; strong programmers may be considered for separate programming roles.
- Responsible for setup on 1-2 machines, primarily robot-automated, with a heavy focus on setup.
- Primarily aluminum machining in a non-union, job-shop-like environment with tolerances that are not especially tight.
Salary: $22-$25/hour.
