Step into a hands-on role supporting reliable PVC pipe production in Houston, where your electrical skills directly keep 12 extrusion lines and critical plant systems running. This Electrical Industrial Maintenance Technician opportunity offers a stable Monday–Friday schedule with rotating 24/7 on-call coverage, plus the chance to work on real industrial troubleshooting every day.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Industrial Maintenance Technician position include:
- 3+ years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, ideally in manufacturing
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical systems and production equipment including motors, PLCs, drives, and control panels
- Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions, equipment breakdowns, and power outages promptly
- Install and maintain wiring, circuit breakers, controls, and other electrical components
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
- Inspect machinery and electrical control systems for safety and regulatory compliance
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and unplanned outages to minimize production interruptions
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, maintenance activities, and parts usage while following all safety procedures and applicable electrical codes
Salary: $30/hr-$36/hr, commensurate with experience
Benefits: Health, dental, vision; company-paid STD/LTD and life insurance; company pays large portion of premiums; 3 PTO days upon hire plus 80 vacation hours after 1 year.
