This CNC Mastercam Programmer opportunity is based in Roanoke, TX and lets you own programming work while partnering closely with machinists, welders, mechanics, engineers, and project management.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Mastercam Programmer position include:
- Approximately 3-5+ years of CNC programming experience with lathes and mills.
- Proficiency with Mastercam.
- Strong machining and fabrication knowledge, including drilling, rig, or heavy equipment experience helpful.
- Solid modeling experience and the ability to work across CAD platforms and multiple software programs.
- Ability to independently develop CNC programs, process plans, and inspection methods while troubleshooting with shop-floor teams.
- Create, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs using Mastercam for lathes and mills.
- Develop parts, fixtures, workholding, process plans, inspection plans, and inspection methods.
- Support production by working directly with machinists and other shop personnel to resolve issues.
Salary: $35-$40/hour.
Benefits: Medical/prescription, dental, vision, 401(k), FSA, life/AD&D, disability, EAP, and voluntary benefits; PTO accrual starts immediately; eight paid holidays, including Good Friday. No separate sick-time policy noted. Hourly employees also receive an approximately one-week unpaid winter shutdown in December, with available PTO permitted; exact dates vary.
