Step into a family-owned, close-knit manufacturing shop in Fraser, MI where your work directly supports precision products built with accuracy and craftsmanship. This CNC Mill Programmer/Machinist opportunity is ideal for someone who can program and run parts independently on modern equipment and take pride in tight-tolerance machining.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Mill Programmer/Machinist position include:
- Approximately 8 years of relevant experience (not strictly required as long as you can demonstrate strong machining/programming ability)
- SolidWorks experience is a major requirement and able to be used without additional training
- Direct Mazak CNC mill experience is a must-have (3-axis); Robodrill (5-axis) experience is helpful but not required
- Must be able to independently program, set up, and operate the CNC mill (not programming-only)
- Strong understanding of tight-tolerance machining and GD&T
- Ability to inspect and verify your own parts using appropriate measuring/inspection equipment
- Comfort with basic preventive maintenance on CNC equipment as needed
- Self-sufficient team player who can work with minimal supervision in a small shop environment
Salary: $27–$35/hour, depending on experience.
