A growing precision manufacturing company in Windsor, CT is seeking a CNC Machinist to join its expanding team! This is an exciting opportunity to get in with a company that has invested over $7 million in new equipment, moved into upgraded facilities, and offers strong advancement potential in a fast-growing environment.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Machinist position include:
- 5+ years of CNC machinist experience with a strong understanding of milling operations
• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts
• Strong CNC milling experience; axis milling is highly preferred over turning/lathes
• Experience with Okuma, DMU85, DMU654, and HAAS machines preferred
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Conduct quality checks to ensure finished products meet required specifications
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Salary: $25 - $35 per hour, commensurate with experience.
