Build your future with a small, family-owned machine shop in Kenilworth, NJ where precision manufacturing meets hands-on problem-solving on real production and prototype work. In this CNC Machine Programmer/Operator opportunity, you’ll program, set up, and optimize milling and turning operations while helping improve workflow, cycle times, setups, and output.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Machine Programmer/Operator position include:
- 3–5+ years of CNC programming and setup experience in a precision manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience programming, setting up, and operating both CNC mills and lathes
- Strong G-code programming/editing and troubleshooting at the machine and offline
- Ability to select tooling, fixtures, and workholding to support efficient production
- Dial in setups, make offsets/adjustments, and hold tight tolerances
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and indicators; perform first-piece inspections
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues and drive process improvements
- Work independently, maintain organized setups and a clean work area, and communicate maintenance concerns when identified
Salary: $26 - $38 per hour based on experience.
