Are you an experienced Chiller/HVAC Service Technician in Central New Jersey looking for a specialized service role covering Newark, New York City, and Long Island? This opportunity offers the chance to work with a niche third-party service provider supporting medical imaging equipment, where you can help grow a chiller service line for hospitals and imaging centers while being dispatched from home.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Chiller/HVAC Service Technician position include:
- Minimum of 3 years of HVAC service experience with a focus on chillers
- EPA Certification for refrigerant handling required
- Experience servicing KTT, Haskrus, and KR Products chillers is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of HVAC principles, electrical systems, and refrigerants
- Perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs on chillers supporting MRI and CT equipment
- Maintain accurate service records and communicate clearly with clients regarding updates, repairs, and recommendations
- Travel within Central New Jersey, Newark, NYC, and Long Island while being dispatched from home
- Complete background, drug, and motor vehicle checks as required
Salary: $40-$50 per hour, commensurate with experience.
