Take the next step with a respected manufacturer known for high-quality interior and exterior laminate products, with exciting growth underway in Wisconsin. In this Architectural Drafter opportunity, you’ll help translate design intent into clear, buildable construction documents while working directly under the COO as operations consolidate into a new state-of-the-art facility.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Architectural Drafter position include:
- 5+ years of professional drafting experience; experienced drafter preferred.
- Associate degree or certificate in Drafting, CAD Technology, or a related field required.
- Prepare clear, complete, and accurate shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and bills of materials using AutoCAD (from CAD and Revit files).
- Interpret architectural, engineering, and field sketches to develop shop drawings and revise drawings based on redlines and scope changes.
- Assist with material take-offs, submittal packages, and basic quantity estimates as needed.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, relevant codes, and client requirements.
- Maintain organized drawing sets and project documentation in accordance with company standards.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure drawing accuracy and consistency.
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: Medical, dental and vision; 401k with 3.5% match; 80 hours of accrued PTO, negotiable; three sick days and two personal days.
