In this Vice President of Construction & Development opportunity, you’ll lead full-cycle projects and guide a team to execute with precision from planning through closeout.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Vice President of Construction & Development position include:
- 10+ years of relevant construction and development experience, including progressive management responsibilities.
- Proven full-cycle ground-up construction experience from initial planning and permitting through construction, completion, and final closeout.
- Demonstrated experience in multifamily residential, single-family residential, and commercial plaza development projects.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent construction projects and leading a construction or development team.
- Strong understanding of construction schedules, budgets, permitting, subcontractor management, inspections, and project closeout.
- Ability to independently manage daily construction operations and make sound decisions.
- Provide executive communication and reporting directly to the CEO, including regular updates on progress, budgets, schedules, risks, and recommendations.
- Lead ground-up projects end-to-end, coordinate with architects/engineers/GCs/subcontractors/consultants/government agencies, and proactively identify risks such as delays, cost overruns, and permitting issues.
Salary: $120,000-$160,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
