Bring your industrial controls and manufacturing engineering expertise to a growing Jacksonville, FL manufacturer where uptime matters and your troubleshooting skills directly impact complex production equipment. This Industrial Controls & Manufacturing Engineer opportunity plays a hands-on role supporting presses, CNC equipment, and critical plant systems while partnering closely with maintenance and engineering teams.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Industrial Controls & Manufacturing Engineer position include:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in industrial controls, manufacturing engineering, industrial maintenance engineering, electrical controls, automation, or a closely related field.
- Program and troubleshoot PLC ladder logic, including Allen-Bradley/Rockwell systems.
- Diagnose and repair manufacturing machinery involving hydraulics, pneumatics, motor controls, sensors, and 480V three-phase electrical systems.
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control-panel/equipment documentation.
- Support preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and root-cause analysis to improve uptime.
- Troubleshoot and support 250-3,500-ton presses as the primary equipment focus.
- Support controls integration and commissioning for new CNC/press and capital infrastructure projects.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, PLC backups, and equipment knowledge retention through cross-training.
Salary: $125,000 per year, annual performance-based raises.
