Based in Bucyrus, KS, this Asphalt Field Construction Manager opportunity puts you on the front lines during asphalt construction season, with 80%+ travel across the Midwest and the support you need to deliver great results.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Asphalt Field Construction Manager position include:
- Hands-on pavement construction knowledge.
- Conduct site surveys to identify problem areas for scope creation.
- Check the type and condition of drainage and perform material and soil testing as needed.
- Upload completed surveys, reports, and photos into the PaveIT system and submit them to the Project Manager.
- Travel to job sites 80%+ of the time and monitor work from start to finish to ensure each phase is completed properly and reduce punch list items.
- Serve as on-site quality control manager by documenting adherence to specifications and requirements.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed per KAI safety policy.
- Communicate daily with the assigned project manager and conduct pre-construction meetings and morning schedule reviews with the customer’s representative.
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
