Bring your HVAC/R and facilities expertise to a high-impact, precision-controlled cultivation environment just outside Steamboat Springs, where equipment reliability directly supports harvest outcomes. In this Facilities Maintenance Manager opportunity in Oak Creek, Colorado, you’ll own the mechanical, electrical, and environmental systems that keep the facility running—while building a preventive maintenance program from the ground up.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Facility Maintenance Manager position include:
- 3+ years of hands-on work in facilities, HVAC/R, or industrial maintenance, including working knowledge of DX refrigeration systems.
- Build and maintain preventative maintenance schedules, service logs, and equipment records using spreadsheet-based and/or CMMS-style tracking.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on precision HVAC/DX split systems (e.g., Data Aire gPod and similar units) and environmental control equipment (e.g., TrolMaster or equivalent).
- Diagnose refrigerant system issues (including checking refrigerant pressures and superheat/subcooling) and coordinate refrigerant recovery/charging in compliance with EPA regulations.
- Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems (fuses, breakers, contactors, panel inspections) and support basic plumbing repairs/installation.
- Oversee RO/water treatment systems, CO2 injection/monitoring systems, pumps, drain systems, and related facility upkeep.
- Coordinate and oversee licensed third-party vendors for systems requiring outside certification (elevator, fire sprinkler/life safety, backup generator, etc.).
- Ensure documentation accuracy, safe/code-compliant working conditions, and compliance with Colorado MED, CDPHE, and OSHA requirements.
Salary: $65,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
