Description
Build your future with a hands-on construction team supporting high-impact projects across Pasadena, TX, from data centers and power plants to heavy civil and military over-water work. In this Formwork Designer opportunity, you’ll use AutoCAD to create safe, efficient, and economical concrete forming and shoring designs while partnering closely with Sales and internal teams throughout every phase of the project.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Formwork Designer position include:
- 1–2 years of heavy civil, infrastructure, construction, or related experience preferred; concrete forming/shoring knowledge strongly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school education preferred
- AutoCAD proficiency required
- Develop formwork and shoring layouts for concrete construction and infrastructure projects
- Produce proposal/estimating drawings and finalize detailed working drawings for field use
- Prepare accurate material lists for quotations, orders, and jobsite shipments
- Design practical, economical solutions that meet project requirements, specifications, and contractual needs
- Provide technical support to internal teams and customers through project completion
Salary: $60,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
