Qualifications and responsibilities for this Resident Engineer position include:
- 6+ years of resident engineering experience in horizontal construction
- Lead local, state and federally funded transportation contracts for projects located in Northern California
- Oversee field inspection, supervise inspection teams, and direct/supervise field construction activities and staff
- Act as an owner’s representative by running client and contractor meetings and serving as a liaison with clients/owners, consultants, contractors, design professionals, and regulatory agencies
- Review plans and specifications to ensure compliance, providing project documentation such as letters, RFI/submittal responses, and change orders
- Maintain project controls including cost and schedule management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and client-facing project oversight experience
Salary: $150,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience.
